10 Best Hotel Chains Twitter Design

Social media profile designs are constantly changing. Google+ Cover photo dimensions or presentation have already changed twice in 2013. the last time, not that long as 2 weeks ago.

In Twitter case, the latest major design evolution date back from September 2012, when Twitter CEO Dick Costolo announce the platforms redesigned profiles pages. The desktop app includes an option to add a ?cover photo? which is also displayed on Ipad and Mobile devises. It’s been made a permanent feature on 18th of Dec 2012.
Mobile Usage is particularly key on Twitter. In March 2013, a Socialbakers study was revealing that an amazing 66% of user generated tweets mentioning brands were executed through mobile devices.

Managing harmony and coherence between your Twitter Mobile and Desktop profile design as well as respecting Brand graphical guidelines and seasonal campaigns can reveal itself quite challenging.

One year after this major change, we decided at Esario to review best practices used by Hotels chains and run a Design voting session between all members of our team. To emphasis opinion of the best of us on this topic, our Head Designer Carlo, we gave him a bit more voting power by applying a coefficient x2 to his vote.

After extracting all hotel chain’s Twitter profiles out of our internal Hotel Competitive Intelligence Tool ?Extramio? referecing more than 650 hotel brands & group, we’ve quickly been able to make a pre-selection of 50 of the nicest Twitter profiles.
